aural temp is using a thermometer used in using a tempanic thermometer the most important action when taking aural temp is to pull ear lobe down, place prob in canal to seal the area.
how do you insert thermometer when taking oral temp? under tounge to side of mouth
to get a pulse take for 30 sec multiply by 2
pulse rate less than 60 bradycardia
to get respiration take while taking pulse for 30 sec multiply by 2
pulse is rapid but regular tachycardia
normal adult respiratory rate 12-20
the most important factor radial pulse ( for any pulse) to be felt you have to? press frimly over the area of the artery.
what is the most common artery fro bp? brachial artery
average normal range for diastolic in an adult is? bp 60-80 mm hg
if a bp cuff is to large the bp would be artificially low
bp 100/60, pulse 100, respiration 12-16, temp 98 -99f. which is normal? temp 98-99 f
hypotension is? low bp
