geometry shapes

QuestionAnswer
circle a round figure that is not a polygon, it has no sides
Paralllel lines Lines that never meet. they are always the same distance apart
Rectangle a four sided figure, with opposite sides the same lenght and the right angles cornes
square rectangle with all sides equal length and the corners are right angles
Polygon A 2-D figure with 3 or more sides that are closed
Symmetry the same on both sides of a line. a mirror image
Triangle a 3 sided polygon
Right angle a 90 degree angle. a corner of a notebook would fit in the angle.
