Accord (noun) An agreement between two or more parties
Deface (verb) To ruin or destroy the appearance of someone or something
Hiatus (noun) A break or gap in duration or continuity
Revel (verb) To enjoy intensely or very much
Stingy (adjective) Not generous; not inclined to spend or give
Amenity (noun) Some sort of item that increases comfort
Dilemma (noun) A difficult or confusing situation or problem
Muddle (verb) To mix up or confuse
Opinionated (adjective) Having definite beliefs and opinions
Salvage (verb) To save something or someone from a disaster
Jeer (verb) To laugh or scoff at someone; to make fun of someone
Illegible (adjective) Impossible to read, often because of poor handwriting
Compensate (verb) To make up for; to make amends for
Erratic (adjective) Unpredictable; inconsistent; "all over the place"
Alien (noun) Someone who is not a citizen; someone from a foreign place
