Math deffinitions.

QuestionAnswer
Equivalent decimal Decimals that name the same amount
Compatible numbers Numbers that are close in value to the numbers you want to multiply or divide.
Identity property-addtion The sum of zero and any number.
Identity property-Multiplucation The product of one and any number.
Commutative property-Addition Changing the order of the addends does not change the sum.

Associative property-Addition Changing the grouping of the addends does not change the sum.

Zero property The product of zero and any number is zero.
Terminating Decimal A terminating decimal that stops, or terminates.
Repeating Decimal A decimal thats numbers repeats itself several times.
Mean The sum of a set of data divided by how many numbers in the set of data.
Median The middle number in a set of data in order.
Mode The number shown most in your set of data.
Histogram A special type of bar graph used to show frequency.
Legend (blank)
Range The difference of the highest and lowest number in the set of data.
Outlier A number in a set of data that is far apart from all the rest of the data.
Spreadsheet A tool used for organizing your data often used to help make a graph organized in columns of cells.
