Friction A force that opposes the motion of an object and produces heat.
Magnetic Force The force of attraction or repulsion by a magnet.
Balanced Forces Are equal forces that do not cause a change in motion.
Unbalanced Forces Are unequal forces that always cause a change in motion.
Kinetic Energy Energy in motion.
Potential Energy Stored energy.
Newton The unit for force.
Joule The unit for work and energy.
