What happens in a coordinate covalent bond? one atom donates both electrons that are shared.
what is a network soild? solids that have covalent bonds between atoms linked in one big network. EX:diamond, asbestos, graphite, lead. They are hard, poor conductors of electricity and heat, have high melting points.
what is a metallic bond? a bond formed between atoms of metallic elements. (left side)
