What is a noun? A noun is a person, place or thing.
What is a verb? An action word.
What is an adverb? An adverb modifys or describes a verb, adjective, and other adverbs.
What is an adjective? An adjective is a word that describes a noun.
What is a conjunction? A word that joins words, phraises or clauses together.eg.: and, but or while, because.
What is a pronoun? A word that stands in place of a noun. eg.: I,you, he,she,we,they.
What is a preposition? A small word that comes before a noun or pronouns to the define the relationship(or position) of that noun to another nounsin the sentence. eg.:before,behind,through.
What is an interjection? A small word that indicates surprisem, emotion; usually accomponied by an explanation point.
What is an artical? A small word (or the adjective family) comes before a noun to indicate a specific (definiate) or general (indefinate) item.
