angles created by two parallel lines cut by a transversal

radius a straight line segment that starts at the center of a circle and contains one point on the circumference.
diameter a straight line segment that starts at a point on the circumference, passes through the center and ends at a point on the circumference.
chord a straight line in a circle that contains two points on the circumference.
circumference the distance around the entire edge of a circle.
secant a striaght line that touches the edge of a circle at one point.
tangent a straight line that touches the edge of a cirlce at two points
