| phrasing | the way in which words are chosen and grouped in speaking/writing |
| problem-solution | text structure in which the author identifies a problem and offers a solution |
| rhyme | similarity or likeness of sound in two words |
| short stories | brief fictional prose narrative designed to create a unified impression quickly and forcefully |
| stylistic elements | techniques a writer uses to enhance a text (word choice, sentence structure, literary devices) |
