endothelium specialized epithelial tissue that lines the blood and lymph vessels, body cavities, glands, and organs.
connective tissues support and connect organs and other body tissues
dense connective tissues examples of this tissue type are bone and cartilage
adipose tissue tissue which provides protective padding, insulation, and support and acts as a nutrient reserve AKA fat
loose connective tissue connective tissue that surrounds various organs and supports both nerve cells and blood vessels
liquid connective tissue examples of this type of tissue are blood and lymph
muscle tissue tissue which contains cell material with the specialized ability to contract and relax
nerve tissue tissue which contains cells with the specialized ability to react to stimuli and conduct electrical impulses
