| Acute angle | An angle that measures less than 90 degrees |
| Adjacent angles | Two angles that share a common side and a common vertex, b ut do not overlap |
| Angle | Lines, line segments, or rays that intersect at the right angle |
| Point | A specific location in space that has no size |
| Straight angle | An angle that measures at exactly 180 degrees |
| Angle addition postulate | A rule that states that the total angle formed by two adjacent angles can be found by adding the measures of the two angles |
| Angle | The figure formed by two rays, called the sides of the angle, sharing a common endpoint, called the vertex of the angle |
| Coplanar | Points or lines that lie in the same place |
| Supplementary | Two angles whose measures add up to 180 degrees |
| Vertical angle | Two non-adjacent angles formed by the intersection of two lines. They are congruent. |
| Obtuse angle | An angle that measures more than 90 degrees, but less than 180 degrees |
| Ray | A part of a line that starts at an endpoint and extends infinitely in one direction |
| Right angle | An angle that measures at 90 degrees |
| Vertex | A common endpointt of the two rays that form on angle |
| Collinear | Points that lay on the same line |
