FANBOYS For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So -always separate 2 independent clauses(2 clauses and 2 verbs) with a comma and FANBOYS
What is a comma splice? 2 complete sentences with only a comma between them
How to fix a comma splice 1. Just add FANBOYS 2. Change the comma to a semicolon 3. Make each clause a separate sentence 4. Add a subordinator(a word like because, while, although, if, when, since, etc.
