How were Sepoys treated during this time? They were faced with racial discrimination, Religion would be challenged and adapted, promotions would be to other British soldiers.
After much of Mughal Empire was colonized by EIC, how did it affect it? It would cripple the empire as a whole, few princes and rulers were able to rule. Much of the army and overall authority was weakened.
After constant mistreatment, how would many of the Sepoys end up doing during the mid nineteenth century? Many uprisings broke out towards many military stations.
What was one of the most heated issues when it came to firearms for Sepoys? The ammunition would be greased with animal fat where you had to bite off the top to open the cartridge with teeth. This went against religion as consumption of animal fat was not allowed.
Once the resistance towards the EIC got to Delhi, what did they do? Called for the reinstatement of the old Mughal emperor.
Following the events after the uprising, what happened? EIC lost authority, but India would still be ruled over by Great Britain, still creating inequality and racism through misrule.
