opposite rays ( two _ rays with common_) Two collinear rays with a common endpoint.
Acute angles ( bigger then _ but lesser then _) An angle measure that is greater than 0 degrees but less than 90 degrees.
intersection ( a sets of _ common to _ or more _ figures) A set of points common to two or more geometric figures.
adjacent angles ( two angles that lie in the same _ and have a common _ and a common _ but have no common _ points ) Two angles that lie in the same plane and have a common vertex and a common side but have no common interior points.
linear pair ( a pair of _ angles with non_ sides that are _ rays) A pair of adjacent angles with noncommon sides that are opposite rays.
obtuse angles ( an angle that is greater then _ degrees but less then _ degrees) An angle that is greater than 90 degrees but less than 180 degrees.
collinear ( on the same _) lying on the same line
line(made of _ has no _ or _ and extends indefinitely in both _) A line is made up of points, has no thickness or width, and extends indefinitely in both directions.
vertical angles( two _ angles formed by two _ lines) two nonadjacent angles formed by two intersecting lines
midpoint ( the point on line _ halfway between the _ of the segemnt) The point on a line segment halfway between the endpoints of the segment.
plane ( A flat _ made of points that has no _ and extends _ in all _) A flat surface made up of points that has no depth and extends indefinitely in all directions.
point (A location with no_ only _) A location with no size, only position
line segment ( A measurable part of a line that consists of two _, called _, and all of the _ between them) A measurable part of a line that consists of two points, called endpoints, and all of the points between them.
Perpendicular ( _ at _ angles) Intersection at right angles.
right angle ( an angle the exactly _ degrees) An angle that measures exactly 90 degrees.
segment bisector ( any _,line,_ or point that intersects a line _ at its _) Any segment, line, plane, or point that intersects a line segment at its midpoint.
Ray ( part of a line that starts at a point and extends to _) Part of a line that starts at a point and extends to infinity.

Use these flashcards to help memorize information. Look at the large card and try to recall what is on the other side. Then click the card to flip it. If you knew the answer, click the green Know box. Otherwise, click the red Don't know box.

When you've placed seven or more cards in the Don't know box, click "retry" to try those cards again.

If you've accidentally put the card in the wrong box, just click on the card to take it out of the box.

You can also use your keyboard to move the cards as follows:

If you are logged in to your account, this website will remember which cards you know and don't know so that they are in the same box the next time you log in.

When you need a break, try one of the other activities listed below the flashcards like Matching, Snowman, or Hungry Bug. Although it may feel like you're playing a game, your brain is still making more connections with the information to help you out.

To see how well you know the information, try the Quiz or Test activity.
