| What is a point? What does it not have? How do you name a point? | A location, no size or shape and always label with a Capital. |
| What is a line? What does it not have? How do you name a line? | Multiple points, no thickness or width. Labeling a line: <-> over two points OR Line n or line x. |
| Whats a plane? What makes it up? How to label? | A flat surface that conists of atleast 3 points. Labeling with either Plane n, or Plane JKL (The points). |
| What do two lines and planets intersect at? | Two lines intersect at a point and two planes intersect at a line. |
| How do you write a segment? | The length of: - over AB, or just AB. |
| What does congruent mean? | They are equal. |
| How to write two congruent segments? | ____ ____ AB~ CD = |
| Whats the segment addition if A, B, and C are colinnear points and B is between A and C, then... | AB+BC=AC |
| What is the mid point? | A point that divides a segment into Two Congruent Segments. |
| A line, ray or segment that intersects a segment at its midpoint is called... | Bisect and called Segment Bisector |
| How is an angle fomred? How do you label a angle? | Two rays with a common endpoint. Name the angle using three letters if only one is at vertex. (Middle letter is always the vertex). |
| What is a common endpoint called between two rays? | A vertex |
| What are the diffrent types of angles? | Acute: B/N 0, 90 degrees. Obtuse: B/N 90 and 180 degrees/ Right: Equal to 90 degrees. Straight: Equal to 180 degrees. |
| How are two congruent angles labeled? | LA~LB |
| What is an angle bisector? | A ray that divides an angle into two congruent angles |
| What are perpendicular lines? What is the symbol? | Two lines that intersect at a right angle. The symbol is an upside down T. |
| What is a perpendicular bisector? | A line, segment or ray Perpendicular to a segmentHo at its midpoint. |
| How do you right an angle? | mL ABD |
| What are vertical angles? | Two angles across from each other on intersecting lines. Always congruent! |
| What are adjacent angles? | Two angles that are next to each other and share a common side. |
| What is a linear pair? | Two angles that are adjacent and supplementary. They form a straight line. |
| What are complementary angles? | Any two angles that add up to 90 degrees |
| What is a supplementary angle? | Any two angles whose sum is 180 |
