tech rules

Rules
1.Think before you act. Do not rush work and be careless
2.Use lab tools and equipment only after you have been instructed in their use
3.Walk in the lab at all times & be careful when you walk behind someone working. Never nudge or push anyone
4.Report all accidents to the instructor immediately. Even a minor scratch could develop into an Infection if not attended to
5.Keep both hands away from the cutting edges of tools
6.Never throw anything in the Technology lab
7.Carry all sharp and pointed tools with the point(s) down at your side .
8.Always return tools to heir proper place when finished. Avoid leaving tools where they may fall or be knocked off the bench
9.Onlyy one person at a time is permitted near the power equipment. Avoid talking to someone when they are operating a machine
10.Roll up sleeves, tie up hair, remove ID cards, remove loose jewelry, tuck in loose clothing and take off jackets and sweaters when entering the Technology lab.
11.All work must stop when the clean up signal is given
12.No Horse Play!
13.Vises are only to be used to hold work. They should not be touched otherwise
14.Misbehavior in the lab is strictly forbidden. It endanger you and others and will not be tolerated
15.Always wear safety glasses wen working in the lab
16.No eating or chewing gum in the lab
17.Never touch anything you suspect may be hot!
18.Never touch the emergency stop buttons except under emergency conditions
19.Do not enter the lab unless the teacher is present
20.Do not leave the lab without permission of the teacher
21.Do not attempt anything you do not understand. Ask the teacher for help.
22.If you are absent, find out what you missed before you attempt any work in the lab
23.Put all materials/supplies away before you leave the Technology Lab
24.All students should be in the room before the sound of the bell. Detention will be assigned after the third lateness
25.All talking should stop at the sound of the bell. There should be no talking during a lesson. Talking during a lesson will result in either lunch or after school detention.
26.Remember your ABC's. Always Be Careful!!!
