QuestionAnswer
Prehistory the period of time in the past before events and ideas were written down.
Fossils the remains of animals and plants that died at least 10,000 years ago.
Archaeologists a scientist who learns about ancient people by studying the things they left behind.
Geologists scientists who study soil, rocks, and natural processes.
Paleoanthropologist A paleoanthropologist is a scientist who studies ancient human ancestors.
Agriculture farming; raising crops and animals.
Ancestors relatives from whom a person is descended.
Anthropologist a scientist who studies humans living now and in the past.
Hominid The earliest human ancestor, who walked on two feet.
Nomadic traveling from place to place to find food.
