physical geography the branch of geography dealing with natural features and processes
latitude lines imaginary lines around earth that run east to west, showing location relative to the equator
equator an imaginary line at 0 degrees latitude that circles the globe and divides the earth into two half called hemispheres: it is the same distance from the north and south poles.
