social studies the study of how people live, work and interact together in communities and around the world.
history the study of past events, people and decisions that shaped our world
culture the way of life shared by a group of people, including language, beliefs, food, art, traditions and music
geography the study of Earth's physical features (landforms, water, climate) and how humans interact with their environment
government the system of people , rules and laws that guide and protect a community, state, nation.
economics the study of how people make, buy, sell and use goods and services to fulfill needs and wants
society a group of people living together in an organized community with shared laws, traditions and values
citizens official members of a country or community who have rights (like voting) and responsibilites
