| Subjective | its the problem in the patients own words. like when they come in to the emergency room and begin to describe symptoms. |
| Objective | investigative process involving collecting data. so that other medical experts may have a better idea of what to follow up with. |
| Assessment | A diagnosis, an identification of a problem, or a list of possibilities. "trial and error" at this point by a medical professional based on previous knowledge. |
| Plan | A course of action consistent with the assesment. at this point they have a better idea and can proceed with how to better help patient. |
| Purpose of medical language? | Clear, Quickly, and to Comfort patients. to aid in communication with not only multiple departments but as well with the patient themselves on a basic level. |
| Where does the language originate from? | Latin and Greek. medical history stems from these cultures. |
| What are the 3 parts to a term? | Prefix, Suffix, Root. makes it easier and shorter for daily medical language. |
| Distal | Farthest point from center of body. which is easier to describe positioning to medical professionals. |
| Anterior | Front of body. easier to describe positioning for medical professionals. |
| Posterior | Back od body. easier location description for medical professionals. |
