TermDefinition
program a collection of instructions that can be executed by a computer to perform a specific task.
word proccesor a computer program that provides for input, editing, formatting, and output of text.
tab a clickable area at the top of a window that shows another page or area.
icon an easily understood symbol (image) of a software tool, function, or data file that helps the user navigate a computer system.
ribbon the grouping of a set of toolbars located within tabs of a program’s environment allowing a user quick access to features and controls.
Formatting tools program features that give the user options in changing the appearance of text, images, or document design.
document a file that contains electronic matter, like text and images.
text the letter symbols onl a page.
font a set style of text.
clipboard a section of computer memory that temporarily stores data.
