1. How do you remember the order of the planets? By using the sentence: My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Nachos. Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
2. What are the Inner planets? They are the 4 planets closest to the sun (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars).
3. What do you call the Inner Planets? Terrestrial (Like Earth)
4. What is Mars also known as? The Red Planet
5. What are the outer planets? They are the 4 planets furthest from the sun (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune).
6. What are the Outer planets made of? Gas (Sometimes called gas giants) and all have a ring system
7. What is our largest planet? It is Jupiter and it has a bid red spot on it, which is actually a storm.
8. What separates the Inner and Outer planets? The asteroid belt.
9. What is located at the center of the Solar System? The Sun.
10. What galaxy do we live in? The Milky Way.
11. What else does our Solar System have? Dwarf Planets such as Pluto.
12. Why does The Sun look the biggest star in the sky? It is the closest star.
13. What Orbits around The Sun? All 8 of the planets, plus the dwarf planets
14, How do we learn more about space? Technology keeps changing.
