1. Rotate To spin around an axis.
2. Axis An imaginary line that runs through the center of the Earth from the North pole to the South Pole.
3. Revolve To travel in a closed path around the Sun.
4. Orbit An objects path in space around another object.
5. Moon A small planet like body that revolves around Earth rather than the Sun.
6. Phases As the Moon revolves around the Earth, different amounts of its little surface can be seen.
7. Solar Systems Is a group of objects in space that orbit a star in the center, plus the star itself.
8.Planet Is a large object that revolves around a star in a clear orbit.
9. Dwarf Planet Also revolves around star, but its path is not clear of other objects.
10. Comet A ball of rock, ice and frozen gases.
11. Star A huge ball of of super heated gases.
12. Sun A star that is at the center of our solar system.
13. Constellation A group of stars that form an imaginary picture in the sky.
14. Galaxy A huge system of gases, dust, and stars.
15. Universe Everything that exists in space.
