This system is a network of nerve cells and fibers that transmit nerve impulses between parts of the body. Nervous System
This system removes excess fluids and unnecessary waste materials from the body. Excretory System

The brain is able to store information, which can later help the body. What do we call these stores? Memories
When breathing, air enters the body through the nose and mouth, and passes through the trachea and bronchioles to the alveoli. What happens in the alveoli? Oxygen enters the blood and carbon dioxide leaves the blood.
In our lung models activity, what happened to the inner balloons as we pulled down on the "diaphragm" (bottom balloon)? The inner balloons inflated. It was quicker inflation with the wider straw (1/2 inch). It was slower with the smaller opening or more narrow straw that was the asthma simulation model (1/8 inch).
What happens when a person has an asthma attack? The bronchioles become narrower. The air flow is then restricted.
When we poured the colored liquids into our excretory system model (coffee filter model), what did the colored water represent? Blood vessels leaving the kidneys.
Babies have to learn to recognize the signs that they need to go to the bathroom. What body systems are involved in this learning process? The Muscular, Excretory, and Nervous Systems
