TermDefinition
Biotechnology Based on our ability to "edit" and rewrite the genetic code-in a sense, redesigning there living world to order.
Evidence Online sources, quotes, vocab, etc, used to prove one thing or another.
Science Use of evidence to construct testable explanations and predictions of natural phenomena.
Testable Able to be tested on.
Empirical Based on, concerned with, or verifiable by observation or experience rather than theory or pure logic.
Claim State or assert that something is the case, typically without providing evidence or proof.
Phenomenon A fact or situation that is observed to exist or happen, especially one whose cause or explanations is in a question.
Falsify Prove a statement to be false.
Anecdotal Not necessarily true or reliable, based on personal accounts rather than facts or search.
Pseudoscience Consists of statements, beliefs, or practices that are claimed to be scientific and factual in the absence of evidence.
