| planet | a large object that also revolves around a star in a clear orbit |
| dwarf planet | also revolves around a star but the path is not clear of other objects |
| comet | a ball of rock, ice and frozen gases |
| star | a huge ball of super-heated gases |
| sun | a star that is at the center of the universe |
| constellation | a group of stars that form an imaginary picture in the sky |
| galaxy | a huge system of gases, dust and, stars |
| universe | everything that exists in space |
