TermDefinition
Constant Something that stay the same and does not change.
Variable Any factor, trait, or quantity that can change or be measured
Dependent Variable The variable that is observed and that changes in. response to the independent variable
Independent Variable The variable deliberately changed.
Inference A logical interpretation based on what scientists already know,
Observation The act of noticing and describing events or processes in a careful, orderly way.
Peer Review The evaluation of scholarly work or research by experts in the same field before it published.
Bias is a personal, rather than scientific, point of view for, or against
Controlled Group a baseline comparison group in an experiment that does not receive the test treatment
