constant? the factor you keep the same throughout the experiment
Variable? factors that can change during experiment
Dependent variable? observed and changes in response to the independent variable
experimental group? the groups that DO get changed by the independent variable
independent variable? deliberately changed variable
inference? an inference is a logical interpretation based on what scientists already know.
observation? observation is the act of noticing and describing events or processes in a careful, orderly way.
Peer review? scientists sharing findings/information with other scientists
bias? A personal point of view/having preferences
control group? the comparison group/variable. (Does not get treatment)
