TermDefinition
Constant A variable that doesn't change in an experiment
Variable Factors that can change.
Dependent Variable A variable that is observed and that changes in response to the independent variable.
Independent Variable A variable that is deliberately changed
Inference It's a logical interpretation based on what scientists already know.
Observation The act of noticing and describing events
Bias A personal point of view rather than a scientific one.
Controlled Group There is changes in the independent variable.
Peer Review Something checked by other people.
Experimental Group There is no changes to the independent variable
