experimental group Is a group made to test the independent variable
Bias Is a personal, rather than scientific, point of view for, or against, something
Observatiom The act of noticing and describing events or processes in a careful, orderly way
Inference Is a logical interpretation based on what scientists already know
Controlled group is exposed to the same conditions as the experimental group except for changes in the independent variable
Independent variable The variable that deliberately changed
Dependent variable The variable that is observed and that changes in response to the independent variable
Peer review Scientists share findings with other scientists by publishing their hypotesis
Constant A factor that stay the same in an experiment
