How long does it take for earth to rotate on its axis? 24 hours.
how many days does it take earth to orbit the sun? 365 days.
When do we know when its day? When earth faces the sun.
When do we know when its night? When earth faces away from the sun
Why does the earth tilt? So that some locations on the planet to experience more direct sunlight.
When does the Northern Hemisphere tilt toward the sun? In June, July and August. Which causes a hot summer.
What would happen if the earth did not sit on a tilt? We would not experience seasons.
What causes us to see different moon phases? The moon orbits around the earth.
What do we call it when the earth orbits around the sun? A revolution
