inner planets are terrestrial
Mars is known as a red planet
Outer planets furthest from the sun are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus Neptune
The outer planets are made of gas sometimes called gas giants
Jupiter is the largest planet and has a big red spot on it which is actually a storm
The asteroid belt separates the inner planets from the outer planets

We live in the Milky way galaxy
Our solar system also has dwarf planets such as Pluto
The sun looks like the largest star in our sky because it is the star closest to the Earth
