Constant A factor kept the exact same in an experiment to ensure a fair test .
Variable Any factor in a experiment that can change or be measured.
Dependent Variable The variable that is observed and that changes in response to the independent variable.
Experimental Group The test group that receives the specific treatment being tested.
Independent Variable The variable that deliberately changed.
Inference A logical interpretation based on what scientists already know.
Observation The act of noticing and describing events or process in a careful, orderly way.
Peer Review Ensure that articles, meet the highest standard of quality .
Bias A personal, rather than scientific, point of view for, or against, something.
