constant things that don't change in a experiment.
variable factors that can change .
dependent variable the variable that is observed and that changes in response to the independent variable.
experimental group a group that is exposed to the same constants and changes in the independent variable.
independent variable the variable deliberately changed.
inference a logical interpretation based on what scientists already know .
observation the act of noticing and describing events or processes in a careful, orderly way.
peer review publishings articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals so scientists can evaluate and test the data and analysis.
bias personal ,rather than scientific point of view for, or against, something.
