Constant
Control group Exposed to the same conditions as the experimental group except for changes in the independent variable.
Dependent Variable The variable that is being observed and that changed in response to the Independent variable.
Experimental group Exposed to the same conditions as control group with changes in the independent variable.
Independent Variable The variable that is deliberately changed.
Inference Logical interpretation based on what scientist already know.
Observation the act of noticing and describing events or processes in a careful, orderly way.
Peer Review Scientist share findings with other scientists by publishing their hypothesis, experimental methods, results, and analysis in scientific journals.
