| Ellipse | An oval-shaped path that planets and other objects can follow as they orbit. |
| Focus/Foci | One or two fixed points inside an ellipse that help determine its shape. |
| Gravitation | The force that pulls objects toward each other because they have mass. |
| Gravitational Constant | A number that represents the strength of gravity in calculations. |
