Material needs are the things we must have to survive
Spiritual needs are the needs pertaining to the soul and intellect.
Shelter A place that provides refuge and protection from people, animals,and weather.
FOOD The nourishment required to sustain life. Food is hunted, grown, and traded.
Clothing The garments worn on the body provided that protection from cold and heat. They are a form of self-expression and maymagnify a status.
Transportation It is the movement of humans, animals and goods from one place to another.
Defense The act of protecting yourself from harm and resisting attack from animals and people.
Communication Sending or receiving information from one place, person or group to another.
LOVE AND CARE Humans need to feel that they are love and cared for.
Spirituality/Religion The beliefs about where people came from, what happens after death, and the explanation for what happens in life.
Culture, Arts and Music The ability to find joy in music and the moving of the body to the rhythm.
Self-adornment Also called Beauty and Ornamentation. All people need to express themselves.
Social acceptance Affects people of all social and age groups.
