proton particle in the nucleus of an atom that carries one unit of electric charge
neutron particle in the nucleus of an atom that has no electric charge
electron a particle in the space outside the nucleus that carries one unit of negative charge
molecule a particle that contans more then one atom joined together
mixture a physical combination of 2 or more substances that are blended together without forming new substances
colloid type of mixture where part of one material is scattered throughout another, block, light don't settle out
solution mixture of substances that are mixed so completely it looks the same everywhere
alloy solution of a metal & one other solid that is also a metal
