Subtract multi-digit whole numbers

| Equation | A number sentence that uses an equal sign (=) to show that the value on its left side is the same as the value on its right side. Example: 5 x 3 = 15 |
| Expression | A mathematical phrase that does not contain an equal sign (=) or an inequality symbol (≠). Example: 8 x 9 and 15 + 8 |
| Inverse Operations | Two operations that undo each other. Examples: Adding 6 and subtracting 6; Multiplying by 4 and dividing by 4. |
