Argumentative techniques

TermDefinition
Ethos- shows  credible source by citing good facts.
Logos- use of  logics and  hard evidence like data or studies.
Pathos- connects to the audience's feelings to make them care about the topic. 
Claim- A clear statement of your main point or position on an issue.
Counterargument- Naming the other side’s point of view to show you understand it.
Rebuttal-  Explaining why the opposing view is wrong or weak.
Rhetorical Questions- Asking questions with obvious answers to make people think.
Anecdotes- Sharing a short, real-life story to make the topic
Argumentative techniques in language arts are strategies used to convince readers or listeners to agree with a specific claim. Writers build strong cases using logical proof, emotional connections, and credibility rather than just opinions.
