Dental Assistant An individual who is trained to provide support to the dentist.
Periodontics The specialty concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of the supporting structures such as bone and gums.
Oral and Maxillofacial radiology The specialty concerned with the diagnosis of disease through various forms of imaging, including x-rays.
Dentist A legally qualified practitioner of dentistry.
Dental Laboratory Technician An individual who performs technical services specified by a written prescription from the dentist.
Dental Hygienist A licensed auxiliary who provides preventive, therapeutic, and educational services.
Dental Public Care The specialty of promoting dental health through organized community efforts.
Oral Pathology Specialty concerned with diseases of the oral structures.
Endodonist A dentist that specializes in diseases of the pulp.
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery A specialty of surgery of the head and neck.
Orthodontics specialty concerned with the correction of skeletal and dental problems.
Prosthodontics Specialty concerned with restoration and replacement.
Pediatric Dentistry Area of dentistry specializing in children from birth to adolescene.
