Treble Clef G clef, High sound, used by Violins
Alto Clef C clef, middle sound, used by Violas
Bass Clef F Clef, low sound, used by Cellos and Bass.
Staff Where the music sits, 5 lines and 4 spaces
Time Signature Indicates the number of beats (counts) in each measure and the type of note that receives one beat.
Measure The spot where notes sit in music. Usually separated by a bar line.
Double Bar Line The two lines that sit together at the end of the music.
Bar Line The line that separates two measures
