QuestionAnswer
personality the group of traits that makes each person unique
interest An idea, topic, or activity a person enjoys. Interests may include baseball, cooking, and reading.
aptitude A characteristic that an individual develops naturally. Examples may include singing and writing.
ability The mastery of a skill or the capacity to do something. Examples may include playing a guitar and playing basketball.
learning style The way a person takes in information and processes it. Examples may include interpersonal, verbal, and visual.
value A belief, idea, or conviction that is important to a person. Examples may include family, health, and education.
resource anything an individual can use to help reach personal goals
self-concept recognition by an individual of both the strengths and weknesses on possesses.
self-esteem a feeling of satisfaction, self-worth, and confidence
self-assessment inventory an instrument that evaluates an individual's personal information to help make career choices
career assessment a tool to help an individual identify the career to which they are best suited based on personal strengths, interests, and skills.
attitude how personal thoughts and feelings affect a person's outward behavior
