| cynic | (noun) someone who always expects bad things to happen |
| defiance | (noun) when you know something is not allowed, but you do it anyway |
| profound | (adjective) a type of thought that is deep and meaningful |
| inadvertently | (adverb) if you act this way, you do something by mistake or without realizing it |
| consumed | (verb, past tense) you ate it |
| descended | (verb, past tense) moved downwards |
| obliged | (verb, past tense) you did what you were asked or expected to do |
| mundane | (adjective) ordinary and often dull |
| considered | (verb, past tense) you thought about it carefully |
| disdain | (noun) if you treat someone with this, you act as if he or she is unimportant or not as good as you are |
