science The study of the world through experiments.
observation Information you get by using your senses.
inference A answer you get from evidence.
hypothesis A guess about what you think will or is about to happen.
controlled experiment An experiment where only one thing is changed.
independent variable The thing you purposely change in an experiment.
dependent variable The thing you measure to see how it is affected.
control group The group in an experiment that doesn't get the change being tested.
data Facts collected during an experiment.
theory Explaining how something works or how you tested it.
bias An opinion someone has on an experiment.
biology The study of living things.
DNA How something works or gets passed on in a living body.
stimulus A change in a enviroment.
sexual reproduction 2 living things that reproduce and make more.
asexual reproduction Reproduction that only involves 1 living thing.
homeostasis The process of keeping of keeping something stable.
metabolism All the chemical things in a body that help it get energy.
biosphere Places on earth where living things survive.
