| Alkalosis | A high accumulation of bases causing an increase of blood pH - pH greater than 7. |

| Amino Acids | Short-chained organic compounds that build to form proteins. |
| Antibodies (Immunoglobulins) | Part of the immune system response to foreign substances called antigens. Made of protein |
