Je suis né à Chatham, en Ontario, et j'ai grandi dans les environs de Chatham jusqu'à l'âge de onze ans. I was born in Chatham, Ontario, and I grew up around Chatham until I was eleven years old.
À douze ans, je suis allé vivre chez mon père à Salmon Arm, en Colombie-Britannique, où j'ai fréquenté l'école secondaire. At twelve years old, I went to live with my father in Salmon Arm, British Columbia, where I attended high school.
J'habite actuellement à Burlington, en Ontario, et j'y vis depuis quatorze ans. I currently live in Burlington, Ontario, and I've lived there for fourteen years.
J'ai choisi Burlington parce que la ville se trouve à peu près à mi-chemin entre mon travail et celui de ma femme. . I chose Burlington because the city is roughly halfway between my work and my wife's work.
Je suis pompier professionnel à St. Catharines et j'y travaille depuis quatorze ans. I'm a professional firefighter in St. Catharines, and I've worked there for fourteen years.

Je suis marié depuis quatorze ans à ma femme, Mallory, qui est paramédic à Toronto. I've been married to my wife, Mallory, for fourteen years, and she is a paramedic in Toronto.
À la maison, il y a Mallory, moi et nos deux chiens, Otis et Tilly. At home, it's Mallory, me, and our two dogs, Otis and Tilly.
Otis est un chien de Saint-Hubert et Tilly est un Beagle. Otis is a Bloodhound and Tilly is a Beagle.
Nous les adorons et nous passons beaucoup de temps ensemble. We love them and spend a lot of time together.
Mes parents sont tous les deux à la retraite. Both of my parents are retired.

Ma sœur cadette, Cassie, travaillait comme préposée aux services de soutien à la personne. My younger sister, Cassie, worked as a personal support worker.
J'aime courir et aller à la salle de sport. I like running and going to the gym.
Je m'entraîne dans ma salle de sport à la maison et je cours régulièrement. I work out in my home gym and run regularly.
J'aime aussi faire de la randonnée dans la nature avec Mallory, Otis et Tilly. I also enjoy hiking in nature with Mallory, Otis, and Tilly.
J'aime beaucoup cuisiner. I really enjoy cooking.
Mes cuisines préférées sont les cuisines italienne, française et mexicaine. My favourite cuisines are Italian, French, and Mexican.
J'aime surtout préparer des viandes braisées, du poisson entier, comme le bar et la morue, ainsi que des fruits de mer. I especially like preparing braised meats, whole fish such as sea bass and cod, as well as seafood.
J'aime beaucoup voyager et apprendre les langues. I really enjoy travelling and learning languages.
J'étudie actuellement le français et l'italien. I'm currently studying French and Italian.
J'essaie de m'immerger complètement dans les langues en regardant des émissions, en lisant et en écoutant du contenu dans la langue originale. I try to completely immerse myself in the languages by watching shows, reading, and listening to content in the original language.
Ma destination préférée, c'est l'Italie. My favourite destination is Italy.
J'y suis déjà allé cinq fois et j'adore vraiment voyager là-bas. I've already been there five times, and I really love travelling there.
