| Hypothalamus | a small, vital region of the brain located below the thalamus and above the brainstem |
| Pancreas | An organ behind the stomach. It makes insulin to control blood sugar |
| Thyroid Gland | A small organ in the neck. It controls your energy use and metabolism |
| Lymph | Clear fluid that leaks from blood into tissues. It carries white blood cells to fight infections |
| Lymph nodes | Small bean-shaped hubs that trap and filter out germs from the lymph fluid. |
| Spleen | Large organ under the ribs that filters blood, breaks down old red cells, and stores immune cells. |
| Thymus | Small gland in the chest where special white blood cells grow and mature. |
| Lymphedema | Swelling in arms or legs caused by a blocked or damaged lymph system |
| Artery | A thick-walled blood vessel that carries oxygen-rich blood away from the heart to the body's tissues |
| Vein | A blood vessel that returns deoxygenated blood from the body back toward the heart |
| Myocardium | The thick, muscular middle layer of the heart wall that contracts to pump blood. |
| Atrium | One of the two upper receiving chambers of the heart |
| Ventricle | One of the two lower pumping chambers of the heart |
| Alveoli | Tiny air sacs in the lungs where oxygen and carbon dioxide swap. |
| Trachea | The windpipe that carries air from your throat down into your chest. |
| Diaphragm | A dome muscle below your lungs that helps you breathe in and out |
| Esophagus | The muscular tube that moves food from your mouth down to your stomach |
| Stomach | A sac-like organ that uses acid and strong muscles to mix and break down food. |
| Small intestine | The long part of the gut where most food digestion and nutrient absorption happen. |
| Kidney | The organ that filters waste from blood to make urine. |
| Ureter | The thin tube that carries urine from the kidney to the bladder. |
| Urinary Bladder | : The sac-like organ that stores urine until it leaves the body. |
| Testes | Organs that produce sperm and testosterone. |
| Epididymis | Coiled tube where sperm mature. |
| Vas deferens | Tube that carries sperm toward the urethra |

| Renal pelvis | A funnel-shaped cavity that collects urine from the kidney tissues. |
| Glomerulus | A tiny cluster of blood vessels inside the nephron that filters plasma. |
