1. Address The numbers and the street name that describes where a person lives.
2. Axis The imaginary line that runs through the center of the earth from the North Pole to the South Pole.
3. Cardinal Directions The four main directions- North, East, South, and West.
4. Compass rose The diagram on a map that shows the points of directions.
5. Continents The seven main areas of land on earth.
6. Globe A model of the Earth.
7. Grid map A map that uses letters and numbers in boxes to describe the location of objects

10. Map Shows objects from above, in smaller size, and in relation to other objects.
11. North Pole The Northernmost part of the earth
