Tig Welding Non-consumable electrode held in place by the Tig torch, classified as a non-consumable because it remains intact during the welding process.
What are Tig welding cups? Direct shielding gas, protect the electrode, and influence weld quality.

What is Tig welding mainly used for? Automotive, aerospace, art
What are common Tig welding metals? Aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium
Mig stands for Metal inert gas
GTAW Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (Tig)
What are the types of Welding Wire? Solid, Flux-cored, Metal-cored, Submerged Arc
What is brazing? A metal joining process where a filler metal is melted and drawn into a joint without melting the base metals themselves
What is soldering? Uses filler metal to bond pieces without melting the base materials.
What is soldering mainly used for? Electronics and plumbing
What is brazing mainly used for? Joining metals that cannot withstand high welding temperatures.
What is the difference between brazing and soldering? Brazing uses higher temperatures for load bearing joints while soldering uses lower temperatures for more delicate connections.
SAW Submerged Arc Welding
What is submerged arc welding? Granular powdered material used to cover and protect the weld area.
OFC Oxy Fuel Cutting
What is OFC? Processes sever metal by utilizing the chemical reaction of oxygen with metal at elevated temperatures.
What is the minimum temperature purity for OFC? 99.5%
What fuel gases are used for OFC? Acetylene, FG-2. Propylene, Propane, Natural Gas
